Brock Brock and More Brock

This is Brock at the local rodeo for Orchard Days. He got out of the hospital the night before. It was probably a big mistake as he was still tired and recuperating, but he wanted to go more then anything. He loved it and enjoyed the fireworks after. He has been sleeping and resting every day since.

Some random Brock pics

Water Balloons

Brock played with water balloons all day, everyday, until they were banned (the car incident and the fact there were dead balloon soldiers all over my yard).

Brock's Best Buds

This is Hatch at the lil' buckaroo rodeo the Sat before tonsils. Hatch is 1 year older and in the same grade as Brock. Hatch is the responsible one. He follows every rule given and is the one that has to remind the others. He is a cowboy and helps build houses with his Grandpa (Brock has helped too). Brock and Hatch go on treasure hunts, spend tons of time playing in dirt piles etc, and ride bikes. Too bad they wont be in the same class again this year.

This is Jaxton, Brock's partner in Crime. Jax is 1 year younger and 2 grades behind Brock. That doesn't matter. They are two peas in a pod and get into a whole lot of trouble together. Right before Brock's tonsils both boys were grounded for throwing water balloons at a car (which happened to be a jeep and one hit a two year old in the face). The driver, our neighbor and a local Sheriff, gave them a good talking to. Besides getting into trouble, the each have a motor scooter, live just 1.5 blocks from each other, have 2 younger half brothers brothers, and they both have a "real" daddy- and so understand when the other is gone for visitation etc. These two usually would rather play in the basement or play video games.

First Grade

Brock loves everything about 1st grade. His teacher Mrs. Hogan is awesome. He love recess, reading, the bus, and hot lunch. He was just voted by the student council as "Most Respectful" and his whole class was voted "Cutest Faces". His class did a read-a-thon to raise money for the kids in Haiti and were in the local paper. The only problem with 1st grade is that he gets on the bus at about 8am and doesnt get off till almost 4pm. By the time he eats dinner, watches the Simpsons (he loves it), and does his homework there is little time for play before bed.

Strep

Brock really did try to write Tim a letter. It said

Rite now I am kinda sic. I think I have a sore throt.

He ended up having strep-again. Poor Boy. He is much better now, but did give it to the entire house. We might look at taking his tonsils out this summer.
